Party's Over

I said goodbye to my baby girl this morning. (My mom left early this morning with her so she could get back in time to teach her Sunday school class.) My husband was very surprised, I think, that he didn't have to mop up the tears. Could be that I was so tired....After the party yesterday at Artistic Expressions where everyone got to paint and eat cake, the girls had a fashion show for us! They insisted that I pull out my makeup bag so they could give each other a makeover. Well, Ada HAD to do her own makeup, because after watching me for almost 5 years, she is an expert in her own mind. Needless, to say when all 4 girls got finished, they were looking a sight. I sure hope that is not how I put on my makeup, Ada. If so mommy needs some MAJOR help. Good thing she has at least 15 years before her dad will let her wear real makeup! After that, the girls, of course, decide they must all sleep together, so me and my husband gave up our king size bed for the little queens. But I am happy to say, around 2 o'clock this morning my sweet little 5 year old came and crawled  in my bed for a little snuggle time. When she got up this morning and I whispered "Happy Birthday" her ear. She looked at me with those sweet eyes and dimples, with her little hand on her chest, and said, "Mama, I don't feel 5." Let's hope she doesn't for awhile.....
